"Some argue that those who try to stand in your way may be a hinderance to your developmental process. I argue that the more the merrier. The stronger the opposition the more powerful the drive to succeed for me is; and one should welcome any opportunity to convert such tense oppositio to a more firmly directed outcome. And that i didnt read in a book. LOL
At the age of 21, Lorenzo is currently President and Founder of the Aggre-Pro Association. It has a relatively young compilation of students who are eager and ambitious about contributing to community development. Since its formation in June 2006, Lorenzo has also undertaken the duties of International Relations Officer and has managed to upgrade the assocition to that of an international charity by virtue of claiming membership from other countries such as Jamaica, St. Lucia and as far as Nigeria.
Lorenzo is also the Founder/ President of the Sayers Court Committee and Founder/ President of the Youth Arm of the Christ Church East Constituency Branch of the Barbados Labor Party (South Socialists).
He has contributed to the community through the formation of an educational based programme dubbed "Youth to Youth". Such a program entails the preparation of a vital mechanism through which the community can effectively acess technical education realted assistance through classes and lessons. In keeping with his charitable and humble character, Lorenzo has offerred this program absolutely free of cost, making it the first of its kind in the educational Landscape of Barbados.
In addition, Lorenzo has created an annual social event for the residents of Sayers court called the " Annual Christmas Eve Clash".
His immediate ambition is to challenge the mentality of the general populace as it relates to the youth, while at the same time challenging his own intellctual capacity to continue to formulate vital projects such as these.
His long term goals is to aid in the creation and implementation of policy that will eventually result in "A Better Life for Our People"
He is indeed a new breed of ambition destined to someday manage the affairs of his country within any given capacity.
