Why we serve RAF is a Christian relief and development organization dedicated to helping children and their communities in Africa and Asia to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty. How we serve Relationships are the starting point and the end goal of RAF’s work. Through relationships with community leaders, RAF staff helps communities set goals that families can achieve by working together. By our demonstration of God's love through our work, we hope that people will experience life in all its fullness. Community Development Helping people to discover and use their own vision, skills, and resources to move from abject poverty to abundant living. Targeting critical needs: clean water, reliable food supplies, access to basic health care, access to education, and income-generating microeconomic development. Partnering with churches, governments, local organizations, and international agencies. Disaster Relief Responding to Africa & Asia natural disasters and slow-building humanitarian emergencies around the world. Saving lives and reducing suffering by tracking crises, pre-positioning emergency supplies for immediate response, and remaining after the crisis to rebuild and restore communities. Global Issues Engaging in Africa & Asia AIDS Hope Initiative of prevention and care, especially for widows, orphans, and vulnerable children, that brings a compassionate Christian response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Food Services Rescue Aid Foundation. serves men and women to help meet their most basic need of eating a balanced meal. We go missions with a balance diet food plus purified sachet water. We make sure that everyone hungry child, man/woman gets food to eat to his or her satisfaction. Several children, men/women in the rural areas have never had a balance diet food in their lives before. Many child faces malnutrition during their growth stage. It brings several side effects to them. These services are available to anyone who is in need. Feed Babies Many mothers in the rural areas of Africa face several challenges in feeding their babies at their early stages. Rescue Aid Foundation. sees to the need that, every mother have her baby’s necessity like; diapers, milk, nutritious food and etc… Education and Career Development Rescue Aid Foundation, believes that, the future of every child depends on the level of education he/she has attained. We see to it that, education is given to all children or adults at any time. We provide educational facilities like, pencils pens, books, text books, school bags, school uniforms and we also construct school blocks for villages that have no school buildings. We also help renovate school blocks for villages. We also educate on AIDs prevention, breastfeeding and how to choose a better career in life. Shelter Rescue Aid Foundation, provides clothes to every male and female child and also to adults. We help renovate condemned houses for parents. We do this by sending our experts over to access the whole place and give us report. Water We construct bore-hole water from nearest water body to areas where there is no good drinking water. There are several villages that lack good drinking water. Almost everyone is affected with water diseases like bilharzias, ringworms and etc… We do our best by helping them to add chemicals that will kill the germs and bacteria’s in the water. Health Care Health care of every rural settler is our much concern. We all need a better health do move about our daily work. We send group of medical teams to such places for free medical provisions. We also build clinics for several communities. Prayer The most important thing you could do for Rescue Souls Int. is to pray for the organisation, and the hurting men, women and children that we serve. We show God’s love daily, by extending a helping hand to people during their time of greatest need.
