MISSION STATEMENT. I am a feminist and its lovely to be one. But since I have gotten tizzy over the inequity of the female role in this bizarre universe, I have tried out the independent track, and surprisingly, I have been quite good at it. Just recently, I settled upon this conclusion (not as an attempt of desperation, it’s not even about dating), it’s just me realizing and deciding that I can be well-educated, independent, content and happy all at the same time but still see the beauty of having “someone” special in my life. DESCRIPTION. I look may look like someone you have already met, but we've never met before, I promise. My approach to love is all or nothing. Consider yourself lucky if I do because that would mean I will live and die for you. I like life, liberty and (in) sanity. I take life as it comes, read all the crazy things I could get my hands on - from can labels...candy wrappers to Machiavelli, and now even Neruda’s Memoirs. I am a living oxymoron who hears sound in silence, sees mystery in the common, embraces the sacred in the mundane and finds wisdom in fools. I am a bundle of contradictions - bittersweet flavored. I am good with faces, but with names. I try to be liberal without apology. I consider myself a spiritual person, but not a religious one. I value Sunday afternoon naps, even handwritten mail in the mailbox. Try as I might, I simply cannot keep a normal sleeping schedule. I get deeper the later the hour is. Hot-wired with adrenaline. I can also be an effective sleeping pill at times and a chameleon that changes color whenever it pleases me. Sometimes my sarcasm is not obvious. So beware. When it comes to humor, I like it dark and ironic. I have the ability to tolerate most people's strangeness unless it is just a blatant attempt for egotistical attention seeking. I filter out most egomaniacs and time wasters unless they are entertaining. I have a tendency to keep myself involve in helping others but I have very little time for anyone who has no intention of helping themselves. I do believe that the simple things in life are often what draw comfort. Breathing is good. It's great and it's free.
