Hi. I'm a 24 year old living in Toronto, Canada. I was born in South Africa, but moved to Canada when i was 10. I received a degree in Japanese Cultural Studies from the University of Toronto, and currently work at an online clothing store - which i own and operate. I found out about TakingItGlobal through a magazine article. I'm still new to the site (registered Jan. 2003), but I hope this community will lead me to many new and exciting projects. I have already been able to get involved with the Assisting AIDS Orphans project, and have worked in establishing an official website for the group. (www.kijanaproject.org). I have a strong interest and concern about the spread of AIDS, and would like to use TIG as a starting board from which I can find other projects to work on.
