 About Me |
I am a native San Diegan but grew up in Los Angeles County and in 1985 returned to San Diego where I currently reside.
Throughout my life I have been expressing my thoughts, feelings and inspirations through art. I have been creating images inspired by my intuitive connection to spirit and nature working in pen & ink, watercolor, acrylics and ceramics. My creative intention is for the viewer to gain a sense of inner calm from my work.
I am primarily a self-taught artist, but I did earn a degree in Graphic Design from Platt College in 1987. I currently have work on display and am a member of Many Hands Craft Gallery in Downtown San Diego, one of the oldest artists’ cooperatives in San Diego. I am also the webmaster for Many Hands (www.manyhandscraftgallery.com). I am also a member of Ceramic Artists of San Diego and Women’s Caucus for Art San Diego.
