About Me

Sophie Jin is a proud native of Salt Lake City, Utah. She has many keen and disparate interests: in journalism, which she pursues as a writer for the local newspaper and as an intern at the public radio station KCPW; in medicine, which she studies through research in the University of Utah's labs; and finally in poverty issues, both international and local, working at the local level as an intern at Utah Issues, a political advocacy group for the poor in Utah. She also loves good writing, especially in the third person.
