Currently working with Muslim Hands as Assistant Coordinator for Muslim Hands Response to Pakistan and Kashmir Earthquake 2005. My responsibilities include:
o Projects Identification, Need Assessments and Project Proposal Development,
o Monitoring of ongoing projects and activities,
o Feedback Reports and Updates on regular Basis,
o Coordination between Muslim Hands UK, Relief In-Charge of all four affected areas, OCHA, Donors Individuals and Organizations.
During last six months I have successfully managed Muslim Hands Shelter Home, Food and non-food Items, Educational Assistance and Camp Management Programmes in earthquake affected areas of Pakistan and Kashmir. During this period I have managed a team of 50 full time more than 200 volunteer workers for the successful projects implementation, monitoring and reporting of relief activities. I have also successfully managed the tasks of Liaison between MH Hands head office UK and relief camps for budget requests; report writing on daily updates, problems and needs; coordination with Muslim Hands’ partner organizations visiting Pakistan and AJK to assess the on the ground situations; and logistics support for Volunteers from UK, USA and Turkey from the Airport to the relief camps.

Prior to the October 8th Earthquake disaster, I had been working with Muslim Hands International as Program officer (January 2004 to till date). During this period of time, my responsibilities include:
• Provide assistance to Manager Projects UK in implementing Muslim Hands Pakistan operations and program areas.
• Maintain process and analyze data and information related to Muslim Hands Pakistan’s projects, Case Studies, and Updates etc.
• Regularly liaise with Project Areas, in collection, processing and analyzing data required for research activities.
• Develop and maintain resource profiles of key experts, organizations, governments, and non-governmental entities, CBO’s, media, research & academic institutes and donors organization etc.
• Preparation of presentation material for print and electronic media.
• Regularly coordinate with Muslim Hands UK for disseminating Progress Reports in the form of case studies and occasional papers etc.
• Support Project Management Office UK in disposal of assignments and deliverables involving pre-feasibility studies.
• Coordinate in arranging and archiving activities concerning letters, email, meetings, articles and documents
• Assist in preparation of speeches, presentation, articles, reports, seminars and meetings.
• Any other task assigned by the line manager related to activities of the Unit and in line with individual TORs
During this period I have successfully completed following tasks:
o Projects Management:
• Successfully managing Muslim Hands Education for all Projects in four districts of Balochistan. 69 Community owned one room one teacher community schools are set up in the districts of Kharan, Khuzdar, Bolan and Jafferabad. 3500 children of both gender are learning Primary Education in these schools that are managed by a village committee. The project is assisting the capcity development of the rural populations by employing local teachers who are regularly trained in teaching skills. The community development initiative includes skill development of 9 supervisors who are trained in education monitoring and social mobilization skills. The initiative has installed 25 communcal hand pumps in the most deserving communities and aim to introduce livelihood trainings for the income uplift of the local communities.
• Successfully implemented USAID funded Adult Literacy Program that enabled 608 women and men of Union Council Koral of Islambad Rural Area to read and write. During this period I supervised a team of 20 social organizers and support staff to implement project activities according to the project time line; designed monitoring and Evaluation tools; and organized adult literacy teachers training workshops. Moreover I was coordinating the funding agency for activity and financial feedback reports.
 Successfully implemented Rajmahal Health Awareness Project at District Kotli of Pakistan held Kashmir. The project was funded by IDRF Canada. During this period I was Coordinating between Muslim Hands UK and filed office for activity designing, implementation of the activities according to the plan and report writing for. I successfully collaborate with National Level Capacity building organizations like SPO, APPNA SEHAT and NCHD for the training workshops aimed at Community empowerment in terms of organizing and health behavior change.
 I am coordinating the implementation of Water Supply and Sanitation Program in that more than 5000 Hand Pumps, 500 Low-Cost Latrines has been installed in remote areas of Pakistan mainly through Volunteers mainly from Sindh and Southern Punjab
 Coordinated for Concept Development to the implementation of short terms activity to support the psychological and physical development of 100 children living across line of control through play and physical education. Muslim Hands UK approved £7105 for the activity that was implemented from 25th June to 25 July 2005.
o Project Proposal Writing:
 Concept and pre-feasibility study for Miri Roshni Orphan Village aimed to provide an opportunity for 102 Children to forget the pain of loosing one or both of their parents and become a more productive citizen of Pakistani Society. The project approved a fund of 400 thousand rupees for the initial construction work, funded by a philanthropist from UK and is in initial phase of constructing a village at Wazirabad, Punjab.
 Coordinated for Concept Development to the implementation of short terms activity to support the psychological and physical development of 100 children living across line of control through play and physical education. Muslim Hands UK approved £7105 for the activity that was implemented from 25th June to 25 July 2005.
 Proposed Village Development Planning for 4 villages of Kotli AJK. The project was the second phase of on going leadership development initiave taken in that area.
o Monitoing and Evaluation:
 Designed and implemented Monitoring and Evaluation tools for the projects of Muslim Hands International.
 Designed qualitative and quantitative tools for need assessment and data collection for Muslim Hands International.
o Workshop and Seminars:
 Facilitated Consultation Session on Muslim Hands Education Planning and Management Systems.
 Facilitated three days capacity building workshop on NGO Mnagaement for 30 femlaes of 11 villages of Rajmahal Area, Kolti AJK.

Worked as Program Researcher with International Human Rights Law Group in its women empowerment through access to justice: Leadership and capacity building program for Afghan Women Law Professionals. During this period, following duties were performed:

Worked with Intern with Action Aid Pakistan, March 15 to July 31st in its High Risk Groups of HIV/AIDS and Behavior Change Project, Heera Mandi (Red light area) Lahore.

• Participated and reported the lobbing campaign for community mobilization.
• Experience of organizing Stepping-Stones Workshops to address the issues of STIs including AIDS and reproductive health from a behavior change perspective.
• Experience of facilitation and reporting of the Stepping-Stones Workshops.
• Developed Socio-economic and Census Survey Form for the participants to the stepping stones workshops.
• Assisted project coordinator in the analysis of base line survey to measure the level of HIV/AIDS awareness among the High Risk Groups of HIV/AIDS in the Heera Mandi Lahore.
