I like long walks on the beach, romantic evenings... WHAT?!? You mean this isn't one of THOSE sites?!? I like to be free, but I don't mind restrictions. I feel it is important to obey your parents and respect your elders. I realize that I am not your typical, spoiled teenager. I want to make a difference, and I have started with the only ways I currently know how to do this. I want to make connections all around the globe. I exploit every opportunity I am given because I know that there are too many people in the entire world who yearn for the chances afforded of me. I want to help other people help themselves. I need to go on a "journey of self-discovery" to find myself... hopefully sooner rather than later. I am a very determined person, but I am not very competitive. I am a girl. In every sense of that word. I want to be friendly to everyone with good intentions. I like to make friends in every time zone. I try to speak French on MSN. I am an addict. My oldest addiction is to school (Why? Oh! WHY?) and pleasing people in a wholesome way, such as massages or compliments (not lies) or just helping them see the good in themselves. I also have a slight addiction to reading... I just stop what I am doing to read. I won't list my current side-table literature because I have about 12 on the go. My second addiction is to MSN. I just have a problem. I just like to find out all about new people. I want everyone on MSN to be happy. I like to have debates on MSN (not a normal thing) over issues such as the legalization/decriminatization of marijuanna, free trade, abortions, and cloning. My newest addiction is to running. I just like to run near the ocean (it smells good, and is familiar) and on the sand... I like it when it rains. I have a special type of "swimming" which I do when it rains here in the suburbs of Vancouver. I just like to talk, as you may have guessed by now. I am a vegetarian. I started this a few years ago when I went on a cycling trip on the Kettle Valley Railroad (later devastated by fires) and my teacher inspired me. I am influenced by positive peer pressure and have no suasion caused by harmful peer pressure. I like to be social, but I hate parties because of the substance abuse. I would never consider ruining my body for something so trivial. I want to make a difference in the world, not just a dent. So, that was written about a year ago. Now, I'm eightteen and studying in Montreal at McGill University. It's a cool place, really. The only thing you have to look out for is skeezy old men. So, girls, I urge you to avoid skeezy old men on a regular basis. Anyways, life's fun and I've met a bunch of really cool people because of the TIG site. It's given me connections with people all over the world. It's nice to know that I share something in common with people who are so different and so far away. I hope they also feel that it's a small world afterall.
