HOW IMPORTANT TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ON THE EFFECT OF DRUG USAGE AND TRAFFIKING IN OUR VARIOUS/INDIVIDUAL COUNTRIES. Recently I was engaged on five days intensive training on prevention 0f drug cultivation and illcit drug trafficking in the country.The training was giving to some youth members whom are basically close to the victims of drug practises in some various community.On the fact that this practised are found among the youths.Representatives from Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) in collaboration with Trios Human Development Foundation,where im a member of the NGO, possed as a facilitator on this enlightment.The exercise was concluded with trip to Abuja,Nigeria, for Drug free confference that involves Stake holders,NDLEA Chairman in different state of the federation,Traditional rulers,Youth corps member,Student from hige and low grade,etc participated earnessly.YOU CAN GET THE PIX OF THE EVENT ON MY BLOG:www.developmenteconomicsnetwork.blogspot.com PARTICIPATION ON THE PREVENTION OF MOSQUITOS BITE AND INFFECTION IN THE COMMUNITY(ROLL BACK MALARIA 2008) Malaria infection has been a major problem in our community.The rural areas has the inreasing rate of infection due to the environmental factors, which tend to increase the illness(Malaria) among children and pregnant women.Basically, effort has been made by federal and state Government to curb this epidemics,but was channelled to the Urban.Hospitals in this remote areas lacks the basic facilities to function effectively, insuficient drug quality and quantity,poor infracstructurals,poor knowledge know how of the hospital staff,those inffected,hardly seek for medical assistance because they don't have money to pay for drugs and services, etc. A research was carried out to find the cause of this illness,and was found that the major cause is mosquito bite.A local Government Area in Ondo in Kwara state was use as a case study.Consequently,the member of Trios Human Development foundation,that i was sent to represent,dim it neccessary to supply this poor peopl with net. The Net is a well treated product that can be used during sleeping to cover the bed or area of the body.We supplied in a good number of quantity to the pregnant and nursing mothers free of charge,accompanied with some Malaria drugs which they can get from the pharmastical shops.A speech was rendered by a community Doctor on the effectiveness of the Net and the drug.YOU CAN VISIT MY BLOG 4 PIX;www.developmenteconomicsnetwork.blogspot.com I PARTICIPATED ON THE WORLD DAY OF VOLUNTEER. My peer was involved in the street rally after they have been thought on the importance of volunteering with other peers from other school.
