About Me

I am a college student at Wayne State U in Detroit, MI. I was born in South Africa, lived there for 7 yrs, but grew up in Cyprus. I moved to the USA four years ago. I am currently pursuing a degree in Biochemistry (and Minors in Art and Int'l Studies) and I currently conduct research on drug resistant HIV protease at the WSU Med School. I want to involve myself in the fight against HIV/AIDS and other social issues on a more people-oriented level (as opposed to the extemely scientific avenue I am currently pursuing).
