About Me   About Me
Born to a rather humble family, I managed through thin and thick, to climb the academic ladder to the Higher Education in Ghana, from where I recently graduated with a Diploma in Media Monitor and Data Base Administration. I also hold a Diploma in Social Work from the Institute of Social work Ghana and Certificate in Health and Social Care from the Open University London.

My long-term career objective is to lead local communities to work out their future in a manner that does not compromise the shared benefits of future generations, through the promotion and consolidation of good governance and the rule of law within local government structures, and the development and management of community Empowerment programmes that empower local people, especially the vulnerable, to make informed choices regarding the smooth development of themselves and their local communities.

Over the years, I have been involved in several Youth activities that have led to my believe in, and understanding of the fact that the Youth of today have the energy, initiative, capabilities and all that is needed to be harnessed for the provision of sustainable future.

My leadership involvements at the international and national levels include my current role as Country Coordinator of Young inventors International , Junior Chamber International, Youth development & Aged Welfare foundation Ghana

Coordinator of Community Empowerment Project in Ghana project funded by Japan Government. I have attended several youth action conferences, seminars and workshops, both national and international. At the International Student Festival in Trondheim (ISFiT-01), Norway I joined over 450 youth delegates drawn from 150 countries around the world to deliberate and take action on pertinent global issues including sustainable development, (which include youth employment), third world debt, politics and media, environment, and culture among others. In the spirit of volunteering.

I was also invited to the International Summer School for Young Activist in Wales, UK I had the opportunity of meeting hundreds of Youth leaders from all over the world, to learn new skills for working with young people in the new century, and find new ways of changing the world and making it a better place to live in.

I am a staunch member of TIG (TakingITGlobal). Currently, I serve on the executive committee of Youth for sustainable future project in Ghana as the Coordinator of Contacts. , an international non-governmental organization works to encourage a change in people’s attitude and involvement in the context of global sustainability, as well as to foster the development of new ethical perceptions, through new and constantly evolving educational paradigms.

My desire to create a positive change in the lives of Youth, especially in Ghana compelled me to sign-up as a member of the Global Alliance for Youth Employment. The underlying principles of this alliance inspire me greatly in my bid to implement them at the country level and I have never regretted being a member of this great alliance.
