I was born on the 28th of April 1981 at the university teaching hospital Benin City, former Bendel State , now Edo State in Nigeria. The year I was born my family moved to the United Kingdom and here I spent the earlier years of my life. We returned to Nigeria some years later and our return was marred by the death of my older brother. It was at this point that my Journey of self discovery started. At this early age of 7 I decided that my focus was to become a more mature person to fit the shoes my brother had left, I started spending a lot of time reading and learning about different aspects of life.
By the age of 12 I became involved in activities centred around youth development. I joined the local Red Cross society as well as other more faith-based youth groups. By 14 I was the head of my community youth group – at that point I was the youngest to ever hold the position.
In 1997, I migrated to Trinidad and Tobago where I became even more involved in youth development, working closely with The Elohim’s Chosen Youth Ministry international as well as the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies.
In 2001 I was voted Male Youth of the year and that year I was appointed to the executive committee of the ECYMI.
While involved in all these activities, I also sought to indulge my love for music and began working with several music bands as an instrumentalist, singer and in later cases as a manager. I was one of the founding members of a group called the few crew which became a local sensation.
In January of 2005, I was elected to the position of the Deputy National Youth Director for the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies Trinidad and Tobago. This was a historic chapter in the organisations history as it was the first time a Foreigner would hold such a prestigious position.
By 2006, I had to migrate to the UK to pursue further studies after completing my first degree in Economics and Computer science.
By December 2006 I moved finally back to the United Kingdom where I am currently studying for a degree in Law and Economics.
I am a certified Peer Educator and Counsellor in Trinidad and Tobago
and i have also received qualifications in Business communication, management of information systems amongst others.
