About Me

I am Muhammad Shahzad, a young Pakistani leader working with other young change agents and leaders since 1999. I have almost 10 years working experience with many different youth lead and or focused organizations / networks all over Pakistan in multiple capacities.

Currently I am leading a youth organization named Chanan Development Association (CDA) as the Executive Director. The organization is the initiative of young professional activists who envisioned changing the behaviours to change realities particularly related to Young People’s and Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, PEACE, Cultural and Interfaith Harmony, HIV/AIDS, Gender discrimination, Violence against women etc.

Beside this job, I am working voluntarily with Youth Advocacy Network (YAN) on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Pakistan which was formulated by World Population Foundation (WPF) and CHOICE Netherlands in 2005. I am a Founder Member and served the network as Provincial Focal Point and Board Member since inception, and currently contributing as the Secretary General for the term of two years, i.e. 2009-2010.
