About Me

I am Qualified General Nurse (GNA) and midwife I graduated from Edna hospital and currently i am a student of University of Hargeisa in faculty of law.

Soon After my graduation from Edna I became HIV/AIDS/FGM officer in one of the biggest local NGOs named Candle light for Health, Education and Environment (CLHE) and then joined with other international agency called Norwegian refugee council (NRC) now i work with NAGAAD in part time job, i like working with youth.

I am always inspired by being a human right activist. As we are together, we uphold each other, stand together as one. Bonded by our tears and clasped together by out hearts. Tell me now, Are we not the greatest. Am I not you, are you not me. We are the same, and together we are one. it is my pride also to mention that I have founded the most active minority Local NGO in our region (Voices of Somaliland Minority women organization VOSOMWO).

In addition to that, I have been involved in various youth projects, like; I worked on empowering my local community to be self dependent by making awareness and campaigns against chewing kat/Qat which has lot of effects to our community and leading to other bad habits and incurable disease such HIV/AIDS and others.
