About Me

First of all, my name is Kevy Nathalie Alcindor Rangel, from Caracas, Venezuela. I have an Economics' Bachelor's Degree, in the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, in Caracas.

Concerning my work experience, I had the opportunity to work in the UNHCR Regional Office Programm Unit in Caracas, for six months. That is where I started to get more involved with development and gender issues, and started doing a research about it on my own. I also did an internship in the same agency in colombia. My last experience in the UNHCR was as a consultant in the Regional office programm unit. After that, I moved to Mexico City to work as economic analyst in a broker, where I worked for two years. I had an offer to work in Banobras in Mexico as well, it is a public financial institution which focuses in infrastructure projects, for almost a year. I have recently left Mexico and moved to Sao Paulo, now working in Bloomberg LP, a global company that provides financial data and news relevant to the investment profession.

In addition to that, I attended to a course in my University which was named "Civic and Political Formation", which had the basic purpose of making us aware of the socio-political situation in our countries and finding solutions to these obstacles. I also belong to AIESEC Venezuela, an international youth NGO that develops human potential. We have worked on HIV/AIDS related issues in addition to other global issues. I have been involved with the organization in Mexico, specially with recruitment and training.
