About Me

I am a south Sudanese youth.After completing secondary school in 1994,I have always wanted to become a diplomat working for international development most probably with the UN system's agencies.So,I underwent studies in " UN & International Understanding," specializing in "UN Commission on Sustainable Development."To strengthen my academic studies, I did an internship in UNDP Beirut on" UN System Interagency Coordination on Development, " concentrating on "UN Task Force on Youth."I also,while in Lebanon from 2003-2005,became a facilitator of the UN Global Teaching &Learning Program on Inter-cultural Understanding; UN mine Action Surveyor for Asian Region;UN Information Assistant during the Beirut International Marathon 2004;Program Assistant for the youth directory of UNESCWA Region;Assisting Coordinator/UN Interagency Task Force on Youth;and Association for Justice& Mercy.In Sudan,I was a Community Health Motivator,under UNICEF/AICF/GTZ ;a Coordinator in Sudanese National Federeation for UNESCO Clubs;an Office Assistant/UNIC Khartoum;and Reporter for Sudan Tribune.Now, I am the Coordinator of UN Youth Association of Sudan;a member of UN Association of Sudan/Committee on Programs&Co-ordina-tion;and an External Relations Officer of UNIC Khartoum.And, since 2004,I have been a program assistant for the MDGs Surveys under North -South Institute and WFUNA.To sum up,I attained the following courses or trainings:
Leadership for Media&Democracy/UN University-Jordan;Peace Diplomacy&Humanitarian Stratyegies/Ministry of Foreign Affairs-Sudan;International Development Cooperation/Ministry of International Cooperation-Sudan;Public Relations&Diplomacy/Council for International People's Friendship-Sudan;International Trade Strategies/Ministry of Foreign Trade-Sudan;and Development studies&Better Facilitation/Swedish Free Mission-Sudan.
