 About Me |
As a young Guyanese I am proud of my contribution to the development of the health and social sectors of Guyana. My involvement and activism has led to the development of many projects and programmes in and out of Guyana and most importantly a vibrant and progressive organisation - Volunteer Youth Corps (www.vycguyana.org)
My hobbies and interests are many but include: working with youth on the gamut of issues that affect their lives such as: HIV, youth unemployment, access to opportunities for personal development inter alia. Primary among my interest is the facilitation of training programmes. Having been a facilitator and a teacher, I thoroughly enjoy working with people in an organised setting and helping to build personal and organisation capacities.
In recent monts my efforts have been intensified at building a YES network in Guyana and sometimes supporting the efforts in the Caribbean of building and strengthening YES networks.
