À propos de moi

I grew up in Buffalo, New York, USA and currently reside in Manhattan. I studied English and Classical Voice in college and worked as a disc jockey in both college and commercial radio during that time. I have lived in Los Angeles and Boston, where I have performed at venues and coffeehouses. I've been singing since I was a child and playing guitar for over 14 years. Music is my greatest passion. My interest in South Asian culture brought me to India where I visited the cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Agra, Cochin, Salem (Tamil Nadu), and Bangalore. India is the most spectacular place I have ever experienced.

Issues of interest / concern to me include: women's advancement in society in developing countries, education opportunities for children living in slums, organizations working to prevent child prostitution in India, irrigated agriculture in developing countries, ground water development in India, literacy rate increase, and preservation of the environment and wildlife.

Some hobbies and other interests of mine include: singing, writing/performing my music, studying South Asian culture and learning classical Indian Hindustani voice, music, music, and music, etc...
