 About Me |
My full names are chinyimba Peter. I was born on 25th September 1979, in kasama, Northern Province of Zambia, currently staying in mkushi district.
I started realising my potential in the field of art, way back in early 90`s.it was from that time when my brother encouraged me to pursue it during my secondary school. Art was not only a subject to me, but it became part of me. I was always interested in expressing myself through visual arts. Whenever I painted something I got satisfaction and became more and more interested in painting or sculpturing another. Upon completion of my secondary education, I got admitted into Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce where I pursued my Art Education Diploma for three years. Iam serving as vice-provincial chairman in central province for a Non governmental organization-The Zambia National Visual Arts Council. It is wholly owned and run by artists them selves. To date I have attended workshops locally and participated in local & national exhibitions. My dream is to gain recognition and help whoever needs my help both locally and internationally in the field of art.am currentily teaching art and design at mkushi high school while persuing a BA in fine arts.
