I moved to Canada about 3 years ago. I am a third year student at the University of King's College.
I play rugby and badminton for my school but I also enjoy watching cricket and soccer (or rather football as we call it).
I volunteer for the Canadian Red Cross Group called, "Even Wars Have Limits" and recently joined the Red Cross Disaster Response Team.
I love the out-doors. I also love to travel and learn about different cultures. I love learning languages, I`m fluent in 3 languages and 2 dialects. I`m also learning spanish which I am sure would be useful in the country I`m going to volunteer in. I haven't travelled much but I love travelling and I`m looking forward to it.
I`m also big on helping people and playing my role as a global citizen. I believe we don't really understand what it means to be a global citizen. I think in order to know so it is important to experience cultures around the world, learn about people, what makes them happy? What troubles are they going through and what I, as an individual can do to help? I believe in making a difference.
