He is affordable by any person committed follower. He is not afraid of struggle and seeks no privileges. H is problem solver, courageous, brings clarity where there is confusion. He is also honest, competent, responsible and reliable individual and a clear sense of direction, a good educator and a nice student. He wishes he could become one of your best friends. His does everything as much as the opportunities come up. No excuses “I WILL DO IT TOMORROW BECAUSE TOMORROW IS NOW AND WILL NEVER COME”. He wishes to empower and inspire people to realise their potential to bring about positive change and sustainable development within their families and in their communities wherever they are, everywhere they go and at any time, he believes that “TOGETHER WILL MAKE IT AND THET WE’RE ALL CONCERNED”, only one thing is needed “LET’S BE ONE”! Since 1997 he was involved individually and globally in long term projects for community development in Burundi and in Africa. In 2006 he was selected to interact with International volunteers who inspired him to start a program for a whole community in Burundi and 34.500 inhabitants of Buterere community (nearby the International Airport of Bujumbura about -4 km were saved and empowered). A centre “BUTERERE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE-BCDC” were established and with ongoing support of volunteers in the Global Neighbour Community “NABUUR”. Jean-Claude KAMWENUBUSA serves as Burundi Local Representative. Through their HIV/AIDS programs, have been involved in the HIV/AIDS field since 2002 and has really enjoyed being part of trying to find solutions to minimize the spread of the epidemic. He was elected to help out as a National Focal Point for Global Youth Coalition On AIDS (GYCA) since 2006 until 2009- http://www.youthaidscoalition.org/about.html In 2009 he is also Burundi Coordinator of Network of African Youth for Development (NAYD)- http://www.nayd.org/about.htm His also member of a hundred of Students Society Civil Organisations in advisory and consultant commissions. In 2005, he became the Legal Representative -President of ASASS-Burundi (www.healthwelfarework.org). He is much time appreciate the use of ICT and internet connexion to promote BETTER WORLD. Tired of living in dependant position, thought TECHNOLOGIES OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION are right tools to make people creative for SELF-RULE-SELF-DEVELOPMENT-SELF-UNDERSTANDING. His is currently committed in online volunteering services with ASASS-BURUNDI organisation to work toward DECADES OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND LIFELONG TRAINING FOR ALL, that reward grades of “BACHELOR-MASTERS-DOCTORAL’S DEGREE”. He has offered himself in e-fundraising and has collected 22.000 books with 50 computers in one container to launch Library and Africa Culture Centre programs as well as a Higher school “University” project under planning since a long period with professors in Burundi and international volunteers. In collaboration with ABC4ALL over 11 Years, worldwide mentors has read and proclaimed COUNCIL OF AFRICA YOUTH ORGANISATIONS UNION (CAYOU). The 24th of June 2009: The Launch of CAYOU consortium marked the END of his 1st lifelong term commitment which began since the 5th, May, 1997 until the 24th of June 2009. He is also youth reporter to the United Nations Youth Flash program, a service of the UN Programme on Youth, keeping you up-to-date on the youth agenda of the UN and partnering youth organizations around the world. He has worked in many youth projects in University of Burundi, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences within Association pour la Promotion des Nouvelles Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication (APNTIC-Burundi) and worked as Communication Resource person in Executive Committee, Director of marketing, communication and publicity since 2003 and December 2008. He carried out activities like sensitisation campaigns the youths about HIV/AIDS and ICT, capacity building, trainings, seminars, amongst others and Organized World Youth Forum there. Most involved in United Nation Millennium Campaign “MDGs”, works with Youth in Universities and primary schools as SCHOOL PROGRAM COORDINATOR for STAND UP AND TAKE ACTION UNMC. He was trained by UN, AUF, ASASS-BURUNDI, APNTIC, NFPA, GYCA, HIV/AIDS Ministries…. He own arts Diploma of General Humanity and is student within University in Bujumbura”. He is very computer literate and work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Windows… He speaks native KIRUNDI, French Fluent, English good; Swahili Fluent, and other African languages. The activities that he has participated in, have contributed to his concern about different cultures and habits/attitudes as being mostly carried out together with people of other nationalities or religious and social background.
