Julian O'Shea is an Australian engineer and an international advocate for sustainable development.
His passion is developing the skills and expertise of the engineering profession towards addressing the world's great environmental and social challenges. Currently Julian is working for an education not-for-profit, promoting programs for emerging professionals with a focus on Sustainability and Diversity.
An avid traveller, he contributes regularly as a delegate and speaker at international gatherings including the World Youth Congress (Turkey), Global Forum on Education (Russia) and the World Engineers Congress (Brazil). His studies and development work have taken him to over 60 countries across six continents.
Julian's service has been recognised as the recipient of a Pride of Australia Medal and he was recently named one of Australia's 15 Most Inspiring Young Engineers.
