معلومات عنّي

My name is Joshua Lessard, and I am an architectural designer (currently associated with Voith & Mactavish Architects, and formerly of John Milner Architects, Inc. and Milner + Carr Conservation). I am currently a fifth year student at Drexel University working through several studios and beginning my thesis work.

I serve as Co-chair for Architecture for Humanity Philadelphia, and formerly served as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Invisible Youth Network.

I have been fortunate enough to work on the restoration and conservation of several amazing international historic landmarks, as well as the design and construction of private residences and disaster relief housing.

Though my research and design aesthetic reflect my interest in the integration of sustainable systems into contemporary architecture, I strongly believe in the importance of learning from historic and cultural precedents. Our past is a great resource for building the future.

In addition, I beleive in the power of collaboration amongst all people, in particular youth. It is our duty and fantastic opportunity to make a difference with our actions everyday!

I am an active member in several volunteer and charity organizations such as Architecture for Humanity, the Invisible Youth Network, the World Affairs Council, Best Buddies, the American Insitute of Architecture Students, & DesignPhiladelphia.
