Jonathan Yee is a 4th year University of Regina student majoring in economics and commerce. Concurrently with his studies, he became a Sessional Lecturer for the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Regina for two semesters.
He is currently the President and CEO of a start up IT firm located in Regina, Saskatchewan and has been working with local, provincial and federal institutions and organizations that help foster economic development in Saskatchewan. He has participated in provincial, national and international conferences meeting senior executives and key industry leaders in IT, energy, mobile phones and gaming.
Additionally, Jonathan is part of the Youth Advisory Group of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). His responsibilities include being a liaison, an adviser and a participant in numerous UNESCO related events and organizations.
He has also been actively involved in the provincial growth of tennis as the Assistant Executive Director, Tennis Coordinator and Developmental/High Performance Coach for Tennis Saskatchewan. He was responsible in organizing, developing and delivering tennis clinics and camps to schools, communities and cities throughout Saskatchewan as well as developing and recruiting rural communities.
