About Me

Influenced in many ways by the pianist-songwriter tradition as well as the classic American songbooks, Jonathan’s piano and vocal creations come to musical fruition in collaboration with his many counterparts. In a varied selection of musical endeavours, Jonathan has been featured on CBC’s The Vinyl Cafe, and on CityTV's Breakfast Television - his charm and presence on the stage, combined with his natural flair for swing, continue to wow audiences from coast to coast.

Jonathan will be attending the University of Toronto Faculty of Law to study for a Juris Doctor in September, 2010. In addition, in June 2010, Jonathan was admitted to the degree of Master of Public Policy by the School of Public Policy and Governance, University of Toronto, where he focused on global trade policy. Jonathan also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from the University of Toronto, from which he graduated with high distinction. His policy work with Peel Public Health - most notably as a co-author of a recently-published White Paper on advertising and child obesity - speaks to a keen understanding of and appreciation for some of our society’s most pressing issues.

Jonathan’s spark of energy is overshadowed only by his undoubtedly bright future.
