I joined TIG after a chance meeting with one of the founders, Nick Moriatis, at a youth politics conference. Its global reach is incredible and it provides opportunities whch I hope to exploit both by contating other members and through projects.
I love sport, with football, tennis, cricket, cross-country running and swimming being my favourites. I'm keen on (though rather poor at) chess. I play the clarinet but my musical interest is more Rock and Hip Hop. My preferred career is journalism and I write for several school papers. I hope to write some articles on TIG. I love reading and, although this website is clearly not a literary forum, I would love to recieve recommendations from other members as I'm sure there are many great books out there by foreign authors.
Politically, my interest lies mainly in my home country, England, where I recently got involved in campaigning at the General Election. I am extremely proud of the fact that I'm half Polish and am currently carrying out my Personal Study (part of my final History exam) on Polish History 1650-1700 (Would love to communicate with any English speaking Poles who could aid me with this). I was fortunate enough to travel a lot in Afrca when I was younger due to to my father's job. This has given me a real affinity for the continent and its people. I'm therefore extremely interested in African affairs, especially those in Zimbabwe.
