I am originally from Oakland, California. I graduated from UCLA in 2003 with my bachelor’s degree in degree is business economics and a concentration in accounting. While at UCLA, I created the STOCKS & BONDS financially literacy organization and the African Men’s Collective. I also served as the African Student Union Treasurer in 2002 and the High School Conference Co-Chair in 2003. Upon graduating, I served as the director of the UCLA African Student Union’s SHAPE Program. SHAPE stands for students heightening academic performance through education. SHAPE has been serving the youth of Inglewood and Los Angeles for 10 years with college counseling, skill building, workshops, field trips, and more. I'm currently enrolled at Stanford University where I'm pursing two masters degrees; one in business administration and the other in education. I'm using my two years at Stanford to launch Purposefinder.net, an online community that helps people network for social change. Purposefinder.net is built around a self-development methodology that I uses in my everyday life. I believe that everyone has a unique purpose and that that purpose is found along the path of personal development.
