About me
I currently hold the position of Sustainability Coordinator and Science Coach at The Evergreen School. I lead our Green Team Committee and I am faculty advisor to our Middle School Green Club. The newly created position will help Evergreen fulfill its Statement of Philosophy, “to live with respect for each other, responsibility to the community and stewardship for our natural environment…” and oversee environmental sustainability activities at Evergreen as outlined in the 2010 strategic plan. I will provide leadership and work with all Evergreen departments on sustainability practices and policies, and how to connect with the curriculum, as well as, to serve as a community resource and liaison with staff, parents, neighborhood groups and the larger community.
