Jason is currently Co-Founder and Vice President of the online lending company Fortuno Lending Ltd. He is also Founder and Board of Director to the 5 year old Canadian Social Entrepreneurship Foundation (www.csef.ca which has launched North America's 1st Social Network for Social Entrepreneurs - www.zoombala.com [Beta]). In 2006 he launched Cubbostoys.com, a toy company focused on educating the market about online security. He is formerly with the Victoria based, multi-award-winning software security and online marketing company Paretologic, Inc. As Paretologic’s first employee, he has held a number of titles with the company since its inception in 2005, including ; Corporate / Business Development Manager; Manager of Research and Development and Vice President of Business Development & Public Relations. Jason’s major responsibilities included day to day operations of the companies business development and sales channels. Jason traveled extensively around the Globe building up the traditional sales (OEM) channels for Paretologic.com. In addition he was responsible for development, implementation, and execution of Online Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, & sales strategies, including designing, and having developed web applications and web portals to increase sales. He is also well-versed in the development of user conversion, acquisition, and retention strategies. Jason's efforts helped Paretologic grow it's online revenue from an annual run-rate of $3 million dollars to $10 million dollars+ in 72 months. Prior to joining Paretologic, Jason was Director of Small Business Development for an international software solutions provider Mercurial Communications, Inc. Here with no marketing budget, he was directly responsible for generating $2 million in contracts in 12 months. As part of Management and Business Development at Mercurial, his efforts grew Mercurial's employee base from 15 to 100 in 12 months. He is also a business partner in the Vancouver based technology company iGEN Knowledge Solutions Inc. In addition to his responsibilities at Fortuno Lending, Jason also consults to the well established eMarketing company BCAdvice.com. In 2004, At the 1st Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford University Jason was introduced to the founders of the the award-winning PBS series Globaltribe. Shortly after that the USA based Not For Profit OneGlobaltribe was founded. Jason developed and helped execute the business plan, sponsorship and marketing strategies for OneGlobaltribe. He has been a business plan judge for the World Bank's Development Market Place and Stanford University Business Plan Competitions. He has been on fund raising teams for BC Cancer Foundation (Project: Journey Of Hope), YMCA Victoria BC and United Way of Victoria.
