I have been creating artwork my whole life. I have always been able to pass the time by drawing to amuse myself. Although I grew up in a small town in rural Oklahoma I have always been intrigued by the hip hop culture. As a small child when my family would go into the city I would always stare at the graffiti on the walls and trains. These images were burned into my mind and have influenced my work to this day. I also had my head buried in comic books as a child looking at the illustrations and trying to duplicate them. My mother and father still have pictures of comic book characters that I drew as a child in early grade school. Through junior high and high school in my hometown of Mcloud I created artwork while playing sports and being involved in church and school activities. After a year in college I decided that I was going to focus on my artwork and become a full time student in graphic arts. At the University of Central Oklahoma my artwork started to take form as I took the graffiti and comic book influences of the past and merged it with my formal training. In December of 2004 I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Two-dimensional studio. I am now pursuing new opportunities as an artist.
