In 2007, she took part in an exchange programme called Global Xchange organised by the British Council and VSO, which afforded her the opportunity to live and work in a multicultural environment - Wales and Kano. She has attended various youth activities, trainings, conferences and round table discussions. They include but are not limited to: National Youth Consultation on Feminism, International Youths Day, World AIDS Day, International Volunteers Day and Generations For Peace Camp. Ibukun has travelled to different countries and is still counting. Her visit to these countries has helped her develop a global appeal. Also, she has picked up French as a lingua franca. She has worked with various national and international organisations. She started her career at Maerdy Communities First, Wales after which she joined Grassroots Health Organisation of Nigeria as a volunteer. After her stint at volunteering, she joined Voluntary Service Overseas as a Programme Support Officer and only recently just joined Shell. This young, dynamic and vibrant diva combines her brilliance with her love for fashion and enjoys fun activities.
