 About Me |
Khuzaima Baheer was born in Amman, Jordan, from a Sudanese father and Egyptian mother. Hold the Jordanian nationality lives and work in Amman. Khuzaima or Huzaima as she prefers to be called has a bachelor degree in political science from the University of Jordan.
Currently works at the HSS/ Health Project funded by the USAID.
She has a 5 years experience at the Khalid Shoman Foundation – Darat al Funun as the event's coordinator. The darat is a non - profit foundation that supports the art scene and artists in the Arab world.
Huzaima has boosted her energy to the high levels in the past tow years and involved her self in different workshops and programs that she would benefit from in developing her abilities and personality to push her work further. She was one of the participants in the Alexandria youth forum in February 09, and in August 08 she took part in the international youth day supported by Siraj, in Cairo – Egypt. And there she conducted several reading workshops for children and worked closely with artists in workshops with children too.
Also through her journey in furthering and discovering her self she conducted a personal research trip to Alexandria-Egypt seeking cooperation from art foundation in her own cultural project. In 2009 she conducted some reading workshops with children from al Salt area north Amman, Jordan, and with Palestinian and Iraqi children refugees. Organized by the American Embassy in Amman, Jordan.
Recently, Huzaima finished her portfolio about an orchestra concert she co-organized with Edward said conservatory of music after finishing a 7 courses in event management conducted in cooperation with George Washington university. Now she is writing a brochure for a non for profit foundation works on behavior changing and knowledge building.
Huzaima always willing to start new projects and experiment new opportunities.
