In July 4-8 2006, 110 young leaders from 17 counties came together at the presidential Hotel in Enugu , Nigeria for the second Africa youth leadership summit. With the theme: YOUTH LEADERSHIP TOWARDS BETTER HEALTH AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, the summit focused on critical health development issues, particularly in the light of the ongoing international development and health sector reforms. Pre-summit, international consultation were held in 4 zones representing the six geopolitical zones of Africa, to ascertain what health challenges and priorities young people have, by geopolitical zones, to identify what efforts young people are making to address these challenges, what best practices are emerging from their work, and what priority action they would like to see African leaders implement, to address Africa’s huge health development challenges. We kindly request your organization to aid us with some project funds to acquire new project we have on our hands for our skill acquisition training programme Youth Community Development Organization Int'l out of various humanitarian services, Presently, organizing programme title YOUTH TRAINING FOR SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT which, starting on November15 2008 to December 15 2008 so please we need your help and support to run the program. the program will cover the following: 1. HIV/Aids Awaerness 2. Skill Acqusistion in verious skills 3.Education 4.youth and children 5. child abuse 6. computer training etc. But presently, we have 15 computer of which 5 are dead while 10 are moderately working which, the number of youth we have are more than the number of computers we have. But they are insufficient to modern information technology techniques.
