Helping Lives International (HLI): promotes peace, education and sustainable development through leadership development programs, ICT projects, intercultural relations through exchange programs and mission support projects. HLI desires to reduce the level of poverty by helping the youths to become gainfully employed and to be good Ambassadors and leaders of tomorrow HLI started full operations in The Gambia, West Africa. On the 17th of November, 2006 and has a global vision for a better tomorrow. OUR MANDATE: Building future Leaders for a Better tomorrow. OUR VISION: Empowering the youths for a brighter future. OUR ORGANIZATIONAL OBJECTIVE To preserve the moral integrity of youth/children To empower the young people to be self-reliant and contribute to the eradication of poverty. To help the youth discover and develop their potentials and talents. To help young people through basic training and enlightenment on information technology {I.T}. To pass on morals, values and principles that enable the youths live peaceably with one another. To establish a skills acquisition center(s) as a contribution to youth education. To operate a charitable scheme in assisting less privilege youths/children To promote gender equality. To educate youths about the scourge and prevention of HIV/AIDS. To promote International exchange programs/Volunteerism OUR PROGRAM OBJECTIVE To develop a charitable scholarship scheme for less privileged youths/children To organize seminars and workshops on youth career development. To assist in the provision of child education. To educate parents towards reducing child labour and developing a positive mental attitude of their children. To liaise with donors to actualize youths/Children ambitions and set goals in life. To liaise with government and relevant NGOs to bring about sustainable youth development programs. You can tell some one or an organization about our project who can support You can support a child’s education You can volunteer to raise fund for the less privilege. You can volunteer in sharing your experience in teaching the less privilege You can donate your financial and material resource in helping less privileged,(if you are lead to do so). You can assist in sharing vital information that will help or aid programme/projects implementation. PLEASE NOTE: Contributors/donors who want to see a better future for disadvantaged children and youths are encouraged (not coerced) to donate Helping Lives Support Trust Fund (HLSTF) : This is designed to build partners and donors for the organization. This medium desires to raise support from Individual, Organizations, Governments , UN Agency etc. This is a link design to raise fund for long and medium term projects of the organization, through local and international fund raising, free well donations, partnership with various related organizations. The Support Trust Fund is met to help present and future projects for disadvantaged people in slums through: Sponsoring of child’s education Educational/HIV awareness campaign program. Building of Schools Donation of educational materials to schools Donation of welfare/relieve materials to the needy SME support for young people Community water projects Building of community health care centre. Building of the old people’s home Building of orphanage etc This Support Trust Fund is open to all donors and partners who want to support HLI projects: * Donors /partners will be given quarterly report on the projects. * Donor/Partners will have access to visit the projects, * Will be given the right to attend annual general meetings, * Donors/Partners will be confide a status of facilitator * Donor/partners identity will be named after the project (optional) Interested donors /partner can contact Project Director’s or Executive Director’s Office or your nearest country coordinator.
