About me
i am a plain and a simple girl who wants to make a difference even in my own lil ways. my personal advocacies revolve around children and women rights, and environmental protection.
there are two basic principles that i adhere; (1) the ripple theory and (2) unity in diversity. i learned these when i was in my undergraduate years. the ripple theory for me serves as my way of life which meant that change begins in oneself. unity in diversity is how i deal with the social circle. this means respecting individual ideas and believing that no matter how diverse we are in our way of thinking, culture, lifestyles and even geographical locations we strive for the betterment of the world. we may have different strategies and ways to pursue these interests.
on the lighter side of me, im into reading books, movies and music. it heals my weary soul and kills boredom when it strikes. i am a fan of mitch albom, paulo coelho, sun tzu's art of war and the prince of niccolo machiavelli and my most favorite is the little prince of Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
a good conversation makes my day- personal or virtual in form. i have a heart of a child (i hope to believe) and i also love teach and mentoring.
after two years of living a quite life waya from blogging and the net, i have made major "breakthroughs" though how little as it may seem to others. i became a teacher in a state college in my hometown. sadly, i have to quit for now because i am pursuing my law degree. but, once a volunteer, always a volunteer. i am now involve in a Land and Housing Project that aims to build 178 houses for the landless and households living in squatters area. i also aimed to start establishing organizations in our locality.
so, if you pass by to read this..pray for me..for the strength to get through and inspire me with your thoughts too..
i thank you. (",)
