About Me   About Me
A Pharmacy graduate from India with much interest in clinical research and community / public health. I am pursuing MSc Clinical Research from SMU, India and currently working on Clinical Research projects (and bioequivalence studies).

After getting a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas with the professionals at the 2nd edition of renowned Geneva Health Form (May 2008), my interest towards public health rose to the sky level. I have also attended the 12th World Congress on Public Health (WCPH - 2009) / its satellite event, International Students' Meeting on Public Health (ISMOPH - 2009)held at Turkey during Apr - May 2009 and the Students' International Conference on Biomedical and Interdisciplenary Research (SICOBAIR - 2009) held at Tehran, Iran.

Being selected as a travel grantee for the Geneva & Tehran conferences, I have been selected as one among the 100 privileged participants of the Istanbul conference.

So far, I have presented about 47 papers (both concept/review ones and original research work; national & international) and have about 12 publications to my credit.

I have been volunteering (both virtual & physical) for a good number of organizations including TIG. I am inspired with the Teach India initiative by the Times of India Group and I am proud that I serve as a volunteer for the program.

I have been involved in a number of health related projects both in the national and international level. With involvement in various organizations ranging from International Pharmacy Students Federation (IPSF) to Health System Action Network (HSAN), I am much interested to work with people from different corners of the world in the areas of HIV/AIDS, TB, tobacco/alcohol and drug abuse, occupational health and other key health issues which affect youth health.
