I have had an interest in computing since childhood, however only in the past year have I made the transition from windoze to LuX. I am eager to learn about and understand the Open Source Revolution which is going to take place over the next decade.
I am using Ubuntu, and trying to get a handle on building packages from source, and other LuX distros such as RedHat, SUSE, OpenBSD and other great distros out there.
I am a member of SLUG.au and will be contributing as often as I can.
I am hoping to contribute to the OLPC program in the future, as well as help build a distribution of Linux with WolframAlpha.com as part of it's packages.
My dream is to live to see a colony on mars, or past 125 years old. Whichever happens first ;)
