About Me

I was born and raised in Slovenia, one of the smallest country in European Union (EU). Growing up in a coal-mine city of Velenje I had experienced how human actions can impact on environment. Slovenia's biggest therm plant has left behind dying forest, empty lakes, changing landscape and in the end causing various health issues all of us suffered in one way or the other.
All this made me work on my first research project to determine levels of led (Pb) in flora around Saleska Valley. I continued with activities as taking part of the local environmental research institute Erico Summer Camps. After finishing high school (1996-2000) I decided to study law at Unversity of Ljubljana. mY internship drugin univerisity years were various from working in a law consulting compny (Perenic consulting), to doing marketing, research for Esotech (Environmental engineering company).
I wrote my diploma on Efficiency and Implementation of Environmental Law in China. The reason for the topic was already doing part time job in a Shanghai based social business called Greennovate, starting in 2007. After spending almost 2 years in China I decided to star my own social business in Slovenia called BELA VODA.
