 About Me |
I have very extensive professional experience because of my involvement in any possible line of work that a person can do by managing one non-profit organization and one profitable company.
So far I was the author of more than 30 successfully implemented projects on topics related to democracy, human rights, elections, citizen’s participation, advocacy, conflict resolution, ethnic tolerance, local self-government and public administration, good governance, rule of law, youth, etc. I was always involved in different roles in implementation of most of these projects. Through these and substantial number of other programs and activities I was often cooperating with politicians, journalist, local, regional and state governments’ officials, Roma, refugees and IDP’S communities, and many other groups and individuals. Very often am working under different sorts of pressures and rigid timelines and conditions. Because of this I am extremely organized and able to simultaneously coordinate, very often non-related and with very few common factors, duties and jobs. Some people learn faster than others. I belong to the group that learns faster.
Most of the projects that I have been involved in were implemented in local, national and regional geographical scopes, and some were even international. Not to go further into details, as it would take too many pages, a sense of my activism in non-profit sector can be felt by visiting People's Parliament Internet presentations.
I consider that one of my greatest successes is that during the time in the seat of the Managing board president of the People’s Parliament; the budget of the organization has increased by 115 %, compared to the year 2000 when I took over the present duty. This has enabled the organization to grow considerably in many aspects. Resulting, People’s Parliament established cooperation with 8 more donors, compared to the year 2000, when People’s Parliament regularly received grants only from 4 such agencies. On the top of that, I was able to secure and provide major investments in office infrastructure and human related resources during the time in the seat of Managing board president. These efforts have insured sustainability of the organization, and have secured People’s Parliament place in domestic non-profit scene.
