I founded GLW as network of educators that helps communities around the world find local solutions to global problems. We believe that the best solutions depend upon learning from the wealth of knowledge, skills, and experiences of the global community.
My own career path reflects a deep commitment to promoting global understanding through international education. I have four years of combined senior management experience in U.S. higher education and the international non-profit sector. I have eight years of academic experience teaching in a variety of higher-education environments in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East. This has included supervising student, faculty, and professional exchanges with U.S. educational institutions and non-profit organizations. Overall, I have more than ten years of international experience designing and implementing successful education reform projects in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Tajikistan, India, and Australia.
