Sobre Mí |
I now live in Louisville and work for Jewish Family & Career Services, in the Multicultural Department. I get to work with internationals - refugees and immigrants - all the time!
In 2005, I finished my doctorate in adult/nonformal education at Florida State University. My area of research interest was education and training for informal sector community-based organizations in Africa, particularly in Chad. I also did research with similar groups and key informants in Mali and Senegal. I looked at how grassroots groups work with intermediary NGOs to build organizational and individual capacity to play a stronger role in local development. I’d be happy to share details of my research sometime if anyone is interested.
I am now looking for career opportunities – in research, evaluation, training, project management, etc. – both short and long-term. I am looking both in the US (mainly in either FL or Kentucky, my home state) and abroad, particularly African countries.
