Summary & Relevant Achievements

Establishment of structures for sustainable economic empowerment through the establishment of micro enterprise for 10 women community based organizations in the area of income generating activities such as cassava processing, palm oil mill, domestic centre, palm kernel cracker etc,

The establishment of a savings and loan scheme to avail women with income generating activities to save, access small loan to expand their individual income generating activities for improved health and social well being.

And building the capacity of women community based organizations with necessary skills to develop the technical and managerial capacity of the affiliate women organizations, PMC members in micro-finance practices, enterprise management and micro-projects management. The above activities were carried out in WHEEI Project funded by Ford Foundation

A total of 68 micro-projects have been monitored and managed in the last 4years of my working experience in the European Union/Micro-Project Programme in Six States of Niger Delta, Nigeria programme, among the projects monitored and managed are community health centre project, construction of six classrooms building, provision of community borehole project with motorize pump and capacity building programme for benefiting communities.
Design of monitoring and evaluation forms for projects, involved in creation of questionnaire file, data administration, processing and installation of data processing software EPI Info version 3.3.2 for Ford Foundation project and attitude and practice (KAP) baseline survey for CYDI.
