I'm very much interested in the political state of affairs, not just in SA but in the whole of Africa. I believe if young people can start getting involved in matters of government and politics, we can decrease amount of fraud, bribery and abuse of power by our politicians. Another thing thats a burning issue at the moment is the rights of women throughout the world. the abuse and the belittling of women is so rife in our time that it seems to be the norm, culturally & socially. I'm very much passionate about what & how we teach our girl-children, what their role in society is and basically how they must gain self-esteem in order for them to take or create opportunities for themselves. as we all know HIV/AIDS exists and majority of people susceptible and vulnerable to this disease it's the youth. I feel that education alone cannot help, we need to engage with the youth practically by having a lot more people (who are HIV +) coming out expressing their challenges and let the young know that AIDS is there and it's no longer funny. My other passion is travelling, and I would like to see ALL of Afrika, I am so proud to be living in Afrika at present that my dream is that one day we can the United States of Afrika (i know it sounds a bit corny....but can't blame a girl for dreaming)
