Frika Chia is usually called Frika, is a young Indonesian women who has been voicing out for HIV/AIDS and Human Rights. Frika has been interested in HIV/AIDS issues since year 2000. Has been a spoke person for young people, People Living with HIV, women and children, treatment, IDUs all over the world.
Frika is an open-minded, easy going and creative person, who believe that in fighting the Rights of people, it needs to start from within ourselves. Frika has spoken in various National and International events, such as, in the opening ceremony in 7th ICAAP (International Congress of AIDS in Asia Pacific) in Kobe, Japan and 16th IAC (International AIDS Conference), Toronto, Canada, on behalf of People Living with HIV.
Frika has a background of Business and Communication studies, and graduated majoring International Relations. Still, for her, studies do not stop here. 'Keep on learning while you can'. Love photography and has a new interest in scuba-diving.
Dividing the difference between filling the soul and filling 'belly'. To fill 'belly', she works as independent consultants in social works and to feed souls and activisms, Frika is affiliated to PITA Foundation in Jakarta and to APN+ (Asia Pacific Network of People Living with HIV) and Women APN+, in the regional networks.
