About Me

Just like many people, I think that the world is afflicted with many major problems. We only have to think about diseases, natural catastrophes, poverty, wars etc. We, humans, are often the main reason why the world is going wrong these days. A good example of what I'm saying is global warming witch is a hundred percent man made.
For me, this subject is really important as it touches me in a personal way and is related to my field of study also (sciences). Global Warming is, in fact, a small part of pollution’s effects.

I believe that we should spend a lot more money into cleaning our world and preventing pollution than we are right now. It would be such a good investment for future generations. It would also make us save money because people’s health would be better. It would prevent cancer and many other curses that we are afflicted with these days. Also, spending money in preserving nature would help keep natural habitats for many species and rebuild some that have been destroyed by us.

The reason why the issue about pollution touches me a little more than any other topic I can think about is because it will affect my future career. As a student in sciences, it can affect me in many ways. If I decide to become a doctor, I will cure many sick people, who were, in some way, affected by pollution. But, if I decide to become a biologist, I will probably study pollution and many effects related to it because it’s going to be a big issue in the future.
Finally, I think people should really start thinking about earth’s health because future generations could be facing tremendous problems only because we did not react and did nothing to save the planet that was given to us.
