Frank holds his MSW from Columbia University, specializing in International Social Development and Social Enterprise Administration. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, he has worked extensively in the field with marginalized youth, women’s groups, and communities, including a post as Field Director for Reto Juvenil Internacional, an NGO in Central America. He has developed and implemented numerous community conferences with youth, women, and indigenous groups, as well as major academic conferences and forums. In 2005-6 he was the Co-Founder and President of the Columbia University Partnership for International Development (CUPID), an organization with over 650 members from across 12 graduate school disciplines. Frank spent one year working in a placement at UNDESA’s Division of Social Policy and Development, in Youth Affairs. He has work experience in 11 countries in Asia and the Americas, and speaks fluent French, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, and intermediate Hindi.
