Main Objectives The organisation was born and registered with sole aim of reaching out to the poor in Nigeria. The poor classified under these categories: (a) The very poor men, women and children, who can no longer work to feed themselves, due to poor health, occasioned by, hunger and lack of accommodation or shelter. Some of whom were driven out from the villages and farms due to communal problems, ostracization, neglect and land disputes. (b) Widows and their children who are dehumanised and driven out from their marital homes by the extended family persons due to crude and wild customs, rules and laws. These kind of people no longer have access to farm lands, agricultural produce which were once their means of sustenance’s. These people are made to suffer in the midst of plenty. They live by donations of food cooked or raw from public-spirited individuals. There were people who were amputated since 37 years ago due to injuries sustained during the Nigeria Civil war. These kind of people live in an uninhabited places, usually along the express way you see them begging for food and living in houses made of bamboo leaves. Their families live in abject poverty in the midst of plenty in Nigeria. There is no provision of housing, medical, transportation facilities for them in the country where milk and honey flow. These are suffering in the midst of plenty. In the Riverline areas, some people there are still living on top of Timber decking on top of the swamp and lakes, all through their years with their families, they live like animals; but they are really human beings but no one can speak for them. They lack good drinking water, clothing, food, transportation, housing and worse still medical care not to talk of education. These kind of people are rated by us as very poor in our midst. They live in abject poverty in the midst of plenty of Natural Resources. There are people of our great country, who live such environments in the Northern Parts of this country who have no access to electricity, water, Medicare, transportation, good housing. These are problems of the poor and we classify them as the poor in our midst who live in the midst of plenty. Our mission is to reach out to the very poor with whatever resource available with us, since our inception in 1993. Our Current Mission Our current mission is aggressive sourcing of meaningful help from the global communities to help us realise our objective viz: reaching out to the people whether poor or very poor, to educate, teach and care specifically for all on the killer diseases called HIV/AIDS which has started spreading fast in our country. Co-operation: We therefore appeal for the co-operation of the wealthy non-profit making organisations, charitable organisations, non-governmental organisations to extend their hands of fellowship to us in our bid to save lives in Nigeria. 10 years anniversary: This aggressive appeal is to mark our 10 years of charity works in Nigeria through the help of local sponsors. We see HIV/AIDS war as a war that cannot be won by just one man alone, but a collective and societal war.
