 About Me |
My name is Ferma Ravn and I work as an intern at Check Your Head, a youth run organization that educates students- young and 'old'- about global inequity. I am currently working with Brian and Kevin on The Belonging Initiative, which is great because disability issues are very close to my heart!
My main overarching interests are refugee/immigration issues, antiracism, global economic inequity, and neocolonialism. I am finishing my social work degree and think that I will either go into law to do work with refugees and immigrants or I will get my masters degree so I can do counseling for refugee youth.
Can't wait to do some networking with others on TakingITGlobal!
