MY GENERATION NETWORK “Young People Networking For Change” There is a general feeling on the part of many writers that the next age will be focused on tapping into the potential of the human being through various intelligence factors we possess. The fact that there are more people in the world means that there is the potential for more innovation and creativity than ever before, provided that we tap into the potential abilities that every human being possesses. Some have even hinted that we will be calling the next age of human race “psycho-zoic age” – the age of human understanding. We believe that young people are capable of much more in the way of achievement and positive change than is commonly realized. MY GENERATION NETWORK is a body of vibrant, young original thinkers networking for change. Our vision is to create a passion for change, unlocking the potential of young People (the future leaders) and working towards a more visionary future. We need CHANGE and we believe that young people are the perfect instrument for this change. Our aim is to build, transform, empower this generation and inspire them to create this positive change. OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT To build and empower the younger generation by assisting them to find and harness their potential so they can positively impact the world around them. To raise spiritual worshippers. To fight injustice and corruption in our society. To raise a new breed of young People that will stand for the truth. To reach out to the poor and the less privileged. To promote peace (conflict resolution) in Africa and beyond. To motivate and inspire young People to participate in political and social activities (that are of benefits) in their respective communities. To give young people a voice in the society and open their eyes to opportunities around them. To educate and create awareness about HIV AIDS and other issues affecting young people and adults in Africa and beyond To take the "good news" beyond walls. OUR ACTIVITIES Concerts , Radio and Media presentations , Visitations ( prisons , hospitals , orphanage homes , etc ) , Tours , Peace Keeping Mission , Publications , Social Voluntary Services , Open Forums , Summits and Conferences , Trainings and Seminars ETC . THE PEOPLE My Generation NETWORK is a registered Non Governmental Organisation. The organization is open to original thinkers and practitioners. The idea is to unlock the potential of young People so that they can be used as instruments for the positive change needed in this Generation. We use the transformational leadership approach, giving each networking member a voice by sharing power and influence. We encourage our members to demonstrate this outstanding transformational style of leadership in their offices, schools, home, personal endeavors and dealings. My Generation Network seeks to include a diverse range of networking members allowing for difference of opinions, encouraging these young networking members to carry out voluntary services within their respective communities and cells. It is meant for those who are ready to relate, appreciate, serve and stand for the truth. Also for people who are ready to grow and develop.
