About me
Esperanza Garcia is a Global Youth Leader & Climate Change Advocate from the Philippines. She is Director of Global Warming & Climate Change Initiatives for the International Youth Council. 2009 projects include interning for an Ambassador & Society & Diplomatic Review, a UN accredited publication dedicated to the UN and the UN community. She held a workshop at the Youth Assembly at UN engaging youth to promote their work on Millenium Development Goals. She was an accredited Climatevoice blogger during Climate Week NYC covering news form the General Assembly & Clinton Global Initiative. She served as a youth journalist for UNICEF's 'Unite for Climate' Campaign. She is attending the COP15 conference in Copenhagen with the official Philippine delegation. She is inspired by the youth and believes that we are the greatest generation who can find innovative solutions to avert the global crisis.
